Security Architect with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in cybersecurity, consulting, and teaching.

Operative Profile

My goal is to help build a secure digital society where data and privacy are protected while supporting innovation and meeting regulatory demands.

I am a Security Architect with 14+ years in IT across software, infrastructure, consulting, and research. I hold a BSc in Software Development, an MSc in Computer Science (Information Security), and a PhD in Computer Science from the IT University of Copenhagen (opens in new tab).

I work at the point where technical depth meets business reality, pinpointing where security will actually reduce risk without disrupting critical operations. I challenge weak assumptions, quantify impact, and prioritise what moves the needle.

Outside academia, I have collaborated with companies across industries and founded my first business at 16, gaining insight into real-world constraints and the importance of aligning security with business value.

Capability Overview

Documented operational competencies across technical and strategic domains.

Security Architecture
I design security controls at the architecture level for environments where failure has high operational cost. I work from threat model to implementation with a focus on hardening, defence in depth, and resilience.
Privacy by Design
I apply privacy as an engineering requirement from day one. I focus on balancing data minimisation, user control, and transparency with business needs.
Software Engineering
I build and review software in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and related tooling, with an emphasis on secure defaults and long-term maintainability.
Systems & Infrastructure
I have hands-on experience across Linux, Active Directory, storage, networking, and cloud-adjacent infrastructure, including maintenance on-site in datacenters.
Academic Research
I hold a PhD in Computer Science from IT University of Copenhagen with research spanning data flow, firmware, and architecture. I turn hypothetical research ideas into practical engineering decisions.
Technical Teaching & Mentoring
I have lectured 500+ students in Operating Systems and C at IT University of Copenhagen. I deliver technically advanced topics to a diverse audience.

The Illusion of Delete

The Illusion of Delete

· 13 min read

We demand systems that never lose data, load instantly, and comply with every law, then wonder why deletion fails. The delete button is not broken because companies are evil, but because we asked for the impossible.
What Surveillance Means to Me

What Surveillance Means to Me

· 12 min read

I am not against all surveillance. For example, CCTV recording crimes provides accountability and safety. What I oppose is mass tracking, profiling, and automated systems that judge us without transparency or consent.
