I am a Security Architect and Systems Engineer who turns complex and mission-critical challenges into reliable and secure solutions.

About me

I have more than 13 years of technical experience focused on infrastructure, security and privacy. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, specialising in information security, and a PhD in Computer Science, from the IT University of Copenhagen.

I work at the point where technical depth meets business reality, pinpointing where security will actually reduce risk without disrupting critical operations. I challenge weak assumptions, quantify impact, and prioritise what moves the needle.

Outside academia, I have collaborated with companies across industries and founded my first business at 16, gaining insight into real-world constraints and the importance of aligning security with business value.

My goal is to help build a secure digital society where data and privacy are protected while supporting innovation and meeting regulatory demands.

I have a privacy-first mindset: I work with privacy-by-design, end-to-end encryption and data minimisation to avoid data becoming a risk. Data is currently the most valuable resource and should be treated as such.
I am a software engineer: I write and review code in C, C++, Rust, C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP and several more languages.
I have been a teaching and mentoring: I have taught Operating Systems and C to hundreds of students at the IT University of Copenhagen, which showcases my ability to present complex topics clearly.
I have been an entrepreneur: Running my own company taught me how to turn technology into business value as well as setting strategic direction and realistic goals.
I have done academic research: My PhD trained me in academic research and following the scientific method. I have presented at international conferences and workshops.
I have practical experience with hardware: I have hands-on experience with data centres, including installing and maintaining servers, storage and network equipment.
